France Phone Numbers

Customer’s use of the Services is subject to the laws and regulations that are applicable to the provision of electronic communications services in France, and in particular the European Electronic Communication Code, the Postal and Electronic Communications Code, the National Numbering Plan as modified by ARCEP’s decision No. 2022-1583 of 1 September 2022 (“Numbering Plan”), AF2M Messaging Guidelines, and the Consumer Code (collectively, “France Phone Number Requirements”).
Customer (a) acknowledges that all France phone numbers are subject to certain capability, usage, and residence conditions and (b) agrees to comply with the applicable France Phone Number Requirements.
Additionally, Customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:
Unless permitted by the Numbering Plan, Customer cannot assign, transfer, lease, rent, and/or sell any France phone numbers provided to it by Twilio;
France mobile phone numbers may only be used for interpersonal communications and peer-to-peer (P2P) messaging. Application-to-peer (A2P) messaging, automated calling, and one-way outbound traffic are not permitted on France mobile phone numbers;
Except for fourteen (14) digit extended France mobile and toll-free phone numbers, all other France phone numbers cannot be assigned extraterritorially; and
Except for France technical platform phone numbers, the minimum use period of all other France phone numbers is seventy-two (72) hours.
