Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
When you use some of our voice-based communications services, Twilio collects information associated with your usage of the services. This includes information such as number of phone calls, call destinations, call locations, type, and service configuration, which is known as Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI). CPNI does not include information such as name, address, phone number, or the content of phone calls.
Twilio shares your CPNI across Twilio Group Members and uses CPNI to offer products and services you are not subscribed to which may be of interest to you, unless you opt-out.
Under federal law, Twilio has the obligation to protect the confidentiality of your CPNI data and you have the right to restrict Twilio’s use of your CPNI. You may opt-out at any time. Opting-out of the use of CPNI for marketing will not unsubscribe you from other types of marketing contacts from Twilio and will not affect the status of the services you currently have with us.
To opt-out of the use of your CPNI data, complete the opt-out form here. Your approval or opt-out of the use of your CPNI outside of the services to which you are already subscribed is valid until you affirmatively revoke or limit such approval.
