Twilio Media Streams <Connect><Stream> DTMF Support now Generally Available

We are excited to announce that Twilio Media Stream’s <Connect><Stream> DTMF support has now reached General Availability!

Benefits/Why is this Important:  

Customers connecting Twilio Programmable Voice applications to other services – e.g to connect voice interfaces to AI applications – via Media Streams’ <Connect><Stream> websocket connections will now also be able to also discern and send DTMF (phone keypress) tones as detected Events, as well, as part of sending the voice media stream to/from the call onward to downstream applications. So “press or say,” away!
