30108: Twilio account does not belong to an organization
MESSAGING
ERROR
This error occurs when you try to use Click Tracking with an account that is not attached to a Twilio Organization. Domains are managed at the Organization level, and click tracking can send tracked links through either Twilio SendGrid servers or your branded link domain.
- The account is an independent account and has not been added to your Organization as a managed account. Twilio requires Organization-owned accounts for Organization-level management.
- The account was created outside your Organization and has not been imported into the Organization from Twilio Admin > Accounts.
- Your Organization does not have a verified domain that lets you add the account. To add an existing account, the account owner must have signed up through one of your Organization's verified domains.
- Link branding setup is incomplete. Click tracking with branded links requires you to create the branded link and add and verify the required DNS
CNAMErecords. - Secure click tracking setup is incomplete. For authenticated domains, SSL click and open tracking require additional SSL configuration before support can activate the feature.
- Create a Twilio Organization in Twilio Admin if you do not already have one.
- Add the affected account to your Organization as a managed account from Twilio Admin > Accounts. If the account already exists, import it as an existing account.
- Verify the Organization domain that matches the account owner's email address before you try to add the account.
- Complete link branding setup in the Twilio SendGrid console. Add the required
CNAMErecords with your DNS provider, wait for DNS propagation if needed, and verify the branded link after the records are in place. - If you need secure click tracking, configure SSL for the branded domain and then contact Twilio SendGrid Support to activate SSL click and open tracking.
