Triggered action

Marketing. A task executed once a customer meets a pre-defined condition.

When an event you define occurs, it triggers an action for Twilio SendGrid to perform. Before someone can trigger an action, you must define the actions, conditions, and their associated user type and event type.

Examples of triggered actions

  • When a customer registers on your website, Twilio sends them a welcome email message.
  • When a customer abandons a cart on your website, Twilio sends them a reminder email message.

To enable these actions, Twilio partnered with Klaviyo(link takes you to an external page).

To learn more about the different actions to trigger, see the Klaviyo website(link takes you to an external page).
