ERROR: 63111

MESSAGING, WHATSAPP
ERROR

This error occurs when Meta cannot find the sender phone number or the WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) linked to your Twilio account during WhatsApp sender registration or management. A WABA is required to register a WhatsApp sender, and each Twilio account or subaccount can be connected to only one WABA.

Possible causes

possible-causes page anchor
  • The phone number was deleted from the WABA linked to this account.
  • The WABA linked to this account was deleted in Meta.
  • The WABA is no longer shared with Twilio.
  • You tried to register the sender with a different WABA than the one already linked to this Twilio account. Twilio supports one WABA per account or subaccount, and selecting a different WABA for another sender in the same account results in an error.
  • Confirm that the phone number still exists in the WABA linked to this Twilio account.
  • Confirm that the WABA still exists and is the same WABA already connected to this account. If you are adding another sender in the same account or subaccount, select the same WABA you used for your first WhatsApp sender.
  • If the sender record no longer matches the phone number or WABA in Meta, delete the sender and register it again.
  • If you re-register the same number after deleting the sender, turn off Two-Factor Authentication in WhatsApp Manager for that number before you try again.
