Twilio can't process your Toll-Free Verification request because the business contact email address in the submission failed validation. As a result, the request can't be submitted for verification review.

Possible causes

  • The email address provided in BusinessContactEmail is incorrectly formatted.
  • The email domain is unknown or can't be validated.
  • The email address appears to be a disposable or temporary address.
  • The email address is otherwise invalid.
  • Update BusinessContactEmail to a valid email address for the business or organization using the toll-free number.
  • Check the email address for formatting mistakes such as missing characters, extra spaces, or an invalid domain.
  • Use a business contact email address from a valid, reachable domain instead of a disposable or temporary email address.
  • Resubmit the verification in Console or through the Messaging Compliance API after you correct the email address.
  • If your rejected request is eligible for resubmission, use the resubmit flow instead of deleting and recreating the verification. Deleting and resubmitting places the request in the same queue as a new submission.
