Twilio could not process your Toll-Free Verification request because the business address in the submission could not be validated. Twilio could not submit the request for verification review.

Possible causes

possible-causes page anchor
  • The business address is not a valid address in the United States or Canada.
  • The state or province is invalid or does not match the rest of the address.
  • The country value is invalid.
  • The street address, house number, or unit information is invalid or incomplete.
  • The city or postal code is invalid or does not match the address provided.
  • More than one address field contains invalid data.
  • Review the business location in Console or in your API request and make sure you entered a complete, valid business address in the United States or Canada before you resubmit.
  • Correct the address fields so the street address, unit or suite, city, state or province, postal code, and country all describe the same valid location.
  • If you submit through the Toll-Free Verification API, update the business address fields such as businessStreetAddress, businessStreetAddress2, businessCity, businessStateProvinceRegion, businessPostalCode, and businessCountry, then resubmit the verification request.
  • If the rejected request is eligible for editing, use the resubmit flow in Console or the API and submit the corrected address within the allowed edit window.
  • Do not delete the verification request just to fix an address validation issue when an edit and resubmission is available. Only delete and recreate the request if the verification is not eligible for resubmission.
