30449: Toll Free verification rejection - URL issues in sample message
MESSAGING
ERROR
Your toll-free verification was rejected because the URL in your sample message does not meet toll-free messaging requirements. Toll-free numbers must be verified before they can send messages to the United States and Canada. As of January 31, 2024, messaging traffic from unverified or pending toll-free numbers is blocked until verification is approved.
- Your sample message includes a shared public URL shortener instead of a branded domain your business owns.
- Your sample message includes a non-secure URL.
- The URL in the message, or a redirect from that URL, conceals or obscures your business identity.
- The domain in the sample message does not align with the sender identified in the message.
- The website linked in the message does not clearly identify the business owner or does not include contact information such as a mailing address.
- Replace the URL in your sample message with a branded URL on a domain your business controls.
- Use a secure HTTPS URL in the sample message.
- Remove public URL shorteners from your sample message and from any redirects behind the submitted URL.
- Make sure the sender name in the message, the domain in the URL, and the landing page all identify the same business.
- Update the landing page so it clearly identifies your business and includes contact information.
- If you need shortened links, use Twilio Link Shortening with your own branded domain.
- Edit the rejected verification and resubmit it with an updated sample message.
