30443: Toll-Free verification rejection - Disallowed: Loan Marketing
MESSAGING
ERROR
This error means your toll-free verification submission was rejected because the business, sample messages, website, or consent materials indicate a disallowed loan marketing use case. Toll-free verification reviews the business sending the messages, the stated use case, sample content, web presence, opt-in flow, and related privacy or terms pages. As of January 31, 2024, messages from unverified or pending toll-free numbers to the United States and Canada are blocked until the number is approved.
- Your submission describes new loan solicitation or other high-risk financial services, including payday loans, short-term high-interest loans, third-party loans, or student loans. These categories are disallowed for SMS and MMS in the United States and Canada.
- Your sample messages, website, or use case show promotional loan marketing instead of first-party, non-promotional loan servicing traffic. First-party loan content is allowed only when it is not promotional messaging.
- Your privacy policy or terms indicate that consumer data or opt-in information is shared or sold. That makes the submission noncompliant.
- Do not resubmit the same loan marketing use case for toll-free verification. Rejections for content or Messaging Policy violations are not eligible for resubmission. (help.twilio.com)
- If your messages are actually first-party and non-promotional, update the submission so your business description, sample messages, website, and opt-in details clearly show that approved use case. Resubmit only if the rejection is eligible for resubmission. (help.twilio.com)
- If you believe the rejection is incorrect, contact Support and provide additional information that explains your use case and shows that the business sending the messages collects consent directly from the end user.
