# 30544: Call-to-Action does not state the message purpose

Log Type: APPLICATION

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

This error applies to both Toll-Free Verification and A2P 10DLC registration.

The Call-to-Action (CTA) disclosure does not state the purpose or nature of the messages the user is consenting to receive, such as promotions, order updates, or appointment reminders.

### Possible causes

* The CTA disclosure requests SMS consent without specifying the type of content the consumer will receive.
* The message purpose is missing or too vague for the user to understand what they are opting into.

### Possible solutions

* Update the CTA disclosure to clearly describe the specific purpose of the messages, such as "marketing offers and promotional alerts" or "appointment reminders".
* Resubmit with the updated disclosure text.
