# 30535: Viral messaging is missing required compliance disclosures

Log Type: APPLICATION

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

This error applies to both Toll-Free Verification and A2P 10DLC registration.

Viral messaging programs must be one-time, consent-based, and include required disclosures. Submissions that do not demonstrate these requirements will be denied.

### Possible causes

* The program sends recurring messages instead of a single one-time message.
* The sender does not have recipient consent before sending.
* Recipients are chosen with bulk tools such as "select all" or contact imports.
* Messages omit sender identity, purpose, recipient name, or opt-out instructions, or the sender is offered a reward for sending.

### Possible solutions

* Limit messages to a single, non-recurring communication.
* Obtain prior recipient consent and select recipients individually rather than in bulk.
* Include the sender's identity, message purpose, recipient name, and an opt-out mechanism in every message.
* Remove any compensation, rewards, or incentives for senders, then resubmit.
